Dr. Alexander Warnecke

Alexander Warnecke graduated in 2012 as an Electrical Engineer at the RWTH Aachen University.
As an research associate of the Institute for Power Electronic and Electrical Drives (ISEA), he was involved in several projects related to ageing of lithium ion batteries at the chair for Electrochemical Energy Conversion and Storage Systems. From 2015 to 2017 he was executive manager of the Center for Ageing, Reliability and Lifetime Prediction (CARL). In 2017 he obtained a PhD at the RWTH Aachen University. Currently he is Head of Electronic Research Laboratory at HELLA GmbH & Co. KGaA. The research topics are electrification, digitalization and automated driving.
